Pier 39 in San Francisco is one of the most popular spots for tourists that come to the city.

From this vantage point, folks can see Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, and the Bay Bridge.

Besides the 110 shops and 12 restaurants, one of the biggest reasons people visit here is to watch the Sea Lions that have taken up residency there.
Throughout the year they average around 300 sea lions, but in the winter months can reach as many as 900 to 1000.
No need to get on a plane my friends.  Just click the image and enjoy the sea lion awesomeness.
