Yes, they’re VERY cute, but they are little teddy bears with an attitude when they grow up. Do not make an uninformed decision, Midwest Shiba Inu Rescue (www.shibarescue.org) is full of shibas that no longer have their happy homes because the owners did not do their homework (or they were being outplaced from puppy mills).
If you’re still absolutely convinced that the shiba inu is for you.
#1 rule — DO NOT buy one at a pet store, these are the products of puppy mills and back yard breeders, NO reputable breeder will sell their puppies through a broker or pet store. For more information see my site.
